Join me for this seasons Supperclub, as I paint Ōmahanui orange for two nights on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th September.

Pull up a seat at my table drenched in orange, as I combine my art form with my obsession for all things delicious. This feast will not only be for the belly, but for the eyes and soul too.

This Supperclub explores the playful concept that food should be celebrated and enjoyed as art. Whether it be the act of creative expression throwing together a homemade feast with a mere fridge raid, or marveling at a beautiful plate of vibrant vegetables, the food we eat serves as inspiration.

I will be serving up the same big vibes - you can expect a space to connect with friends old and new over wildly delicious, slightly chaotic, soulful food. Enjoy a visual feast of a RDT tablescape and dine from the art pieces surrounding the table, a thoughtfully curated exhibition of conceptual dishes designed to be eaten.

For the longest time, I have gravitated towards creating orange foods. To be tangerine is to be bold, connected with creativity, warm and full of energy.

Let’s talk Tangerine

  • Tangerine is a Supperclub with a citrus twist. This public Supperclub explores the playful idea that food should be celebrated as art.

    For this event, I will create an edible art exhibition, inspired by all things orange. Instead of a typical 3 course menu, I invite you to join my tablescape drenched in orange, and dine from the food installations surrounding you.

    Conceptual dining at its best, each dish is designed to evoke conversation, spark creativity and get you to rethink the way you look at and enjoy your food.

  • Tangerine will be starting each night at 6.30pm sharp, at Omahanui 170 Plummers Point road.

    There will be an option to add a bus from central Tauranga, however please note I reserve the right to cancel this if minimum numbers are not triggered.

    You are also welcome to drive, there is parking on site.

    The event will have a 3 hour sitting.

  • Tickets will be $150 per person (no booking fee)
    This includes:
    A seat at my Tangerine table

    An orange inspired feast
    A pineapple & mango Zangria

    A night of creativity & connection

    There will be an add on option for transport, for $35 returning from Tauranga CBD.

    *Please note, I reserve the right to cancel this if minimum numbers are not triggered during ticket sales

  • The menu will be a celebration of all things orange. That could mean a perfectly crisp carrot, or a deep fried snacky bit cooked just long enough to turn the perfect shade of gold.

    I’ll be serving up what I do best:
    Slightly chaotic, wildly delicious, soulful food.

    There will be plenty of gluten free & vegetarian options available, but as this event is designed to be interactive, with shared plates - this event unfortunately may not suitable for severe allergies or for those who do not consume dairy.

  • You do you boo.

    I would love for you to embrace your inner Tangerine and wear a shade of citrus, but if this isn't your vibe that's fine too.

  • Tangerine is going to be all things weird and wonderful. You can expect:


    Slightly chaotic, wildly delicious, soulful food by a homecook.

    A creatively styled tablescape and meal, designed to challenge the way you think of and consume your food.

    Connection. Expect to lend a hand passing food to your neighbor (and new friend) at the table!

    If you are looking for a traditional fine dining, technically perfect meal, then respectfully - this event might not be for you.

    Due to the interactive element of this meal, unfortunately it is not suitable for severe allergies or those who do not consume animal products. I understand for some, this is is frustrating. I will be ensuring I cater to you for my next event.
